What is Field Archery?
At SWAC we shoot according to the National Field Archery Society's rules. It involves following a pre-laid course and shooting at targets set at an unknown distance - the key is to work out how far you are away from the target, then shoot. For more information go to our
'Field Archery for Beginners' page. The following links will give you more information on our Field Archery Governing Body - the NFAS:
Field Committee Members:
Pete Dixon (Field Co-ordinator), Mike Dibben (Deputy Field Co-ordinator), Felton Kelly (Field Tournament Organiser) & Owen Blackmore (Records Officer). There are also a number of very experienced field archers who are more than happy to discuss field archery with you - including our President, Arthur Shatford, who knows everything about archery!
