The Sarum Clout

Download this year's entry form (26th September 2010) - please note that the shoot will be taking place at our new shooting ground (Trafalgar School, Breamore Road, Downton, SP5 3HN)

The Sarum Clout is an open shoot that is held annually in September at Bishop Wordsworth playing fields on Britford Lane, Salisbury.  Here, archers of all ages, bowstyles and abilities are encouraged to take part in this enjoyable form of archery (see here for more information).

Tassels are awarded to those archers who achieve a certain score within a 'score band' for their bowstyle. There are six tassel colours to work towards. This is explained in more detail on Yorkshire Archery Association's website

Recent reports

South Wilts Archery Club are committed to the promotion of Clout Archery and hold three practise sessions a year. These sessions are open to non-members as long as they can prove that they belong to another archery club.

Next SWAC practise session: Sunday 22nd August 2010 (sighters at 9:30am) Contact peterdurtnall@btinternet.com for details
